Danish Design

While walking to one of my favorite little Italian cafes just off of High Street Kensington, I walked past a window of seemingly boring furniture. Not much of a "showroom" look to the shop. But as I peered in further, the details of the pieces began to catch my eye.

Even with a window between the pieces and I, I could tell the quality and I was instantly drawn in. Something was different about these chairs and tables.

The shop is full of both vintage (1944-1969) pieces and newly made editions of original Danish designs. Unlike most remakes, these are made of solid wood. Rosewood is the preferred choice, for many reasons.

These pieces of furniture are not only beautiful to look at but they will last beyond a lifetime and are a true investment.

If you a have a true appreciation and love for quality furniture and like the style of classic Danish pieces, have a look on their website: paeredansk.com and get a feeling for what I'm absolutely crazy about right now!
